I use these on flights over my XM4s as I can rest my head against something on flights.
These are excellent all round and are super comfortable.
I can wear them for 6 hours. Once I wore for 8 hours and my ears hurt for 2 days.
I don't have these but I have the QC 1st gen.
YMWV, but for me, I had two choices: Insert them the right way (align with your ear opening) but they come out easily, or twist it so it's securely in. Won't fall out but will be uncomfortable within 5 minutes.
I tried all 3 ear tips. They just don't fit me. Also I drop them a lot just trying to put them in.
On flights, they will be comfortable but you might have to charge them half way unless it's a domestic flight.
First I read it as "Triple pack", which made it seem like a really good deal.

Perfectly comfortable for a Transpacific flight, though you'll have to take them off for a recharge at some point - you can pick up a few hours charge in just a handful of minutes.
my big beef with these is that the touch controls can be hit or miss sometimes and the phone call quality is atrocious. Like absolutely woeful. Do not buy these and think you can practically use them for phone calls.
On the other hand, the ANC is good enough for me that they replaced my Sony over the ear wh1000xm3.
Hows the mic quality?
the first gen had good mic quality. I assume the same for QC II.
