  • Sound is top and I loved mine. Unfortunately mine do not connect anymore and all attempts of resetting failed. Bose says they are out of warranty. I have done everything what is possible (except dumping them in the bin).

    • When and where did you buy them ?

      • Sorry I just realised mine are the model bose quietcomfort 35ii. However I am fearful to buy another pair (newer model) to experience a similar problem. I have updated all software and had several attempts to reset.

QC35 ii could be over 5 years old. But you may be able to ask them to replace it for free complaining about the infamous power issue.

          • @CocaKoala: Any recent evidence of success with this?

            • +1

@f4te: Yes, I got mine about a month ago.

    • That's unusual. They're usually very good with servicing. Given QC45 is reasonably new I wonder how far it is out of warranty.

If the item is just out of warranty, just remind them that they're bound by Australian consumer Law and that you expect the item to last reasonably long. They should either fix it, refund or replace.

      • It called “life time warranty “ and you will pay top money for that service.

    This or bose 700?

    • I got the bose 700 on ag mode I hear a crackle when ever there is sound.

  • I am so confused between XM4 QC45 700. I mainly need them for watching movies through nvidia shield.
    Any recommendations?

    • +1

Ive found the xm series to be louder but the quiet comfort series to have better sound quality, and also you have to decide whether u want physical or touch sensitive buttons on the headphones

I just got JB Hi-Fi to price match TGG for $293.25. I'm also using an Ultimate Gift Card for another 5% savings (on the price on the gift card) which brings the price down to $280.29.

    • Price Match the 15% off price?

      • +3

Yes, I asked live chat if they could price match TGG $345 + 15% off, using the code EXTRA15. After a couple of minutes (I assume the person was trying to verify the price by going to the TGG website and adding it to the cart with the code), they gave me a cart link for a price of $293.25.

        • Sweet. TGG have LinkBuds S for $198 + 15% discount, will see if JB will price match that!

    • +1

Awesome! Could you please upload a copy of the receipt? That may help others price match then. :-)

Thank you, but I think this might not be enough as at least the order number will be required. But thankfully now hardly normal also has an offer so people will be able to price match at JB using that.

  • Thanks OP, first pair of NC headphones, hopefully wont hear the crying children (not mine) inside the house.

I have so many questions right now 😂

I'm sure you'll enjoy the headphones!
