Great SSDs for general use. Nice size and transfer speeds are sufficient. Got a 1TB partitioned 50% APFS for my Macbook Air (so I can move large apps and games onto it) and 50% ExFAT for cross-platform use (Windows and Android).
What software do you use to do the partiton? Do you do it on Windows or Mac?
Yeah just used Disk Utility. Just make sure you format the whole drive at the start, some right click and show all drives option I think.

Can’t you just use exfat for all including macbook?
Can't run .app off of an ExFAT partition, only off APFS and HFS+ (Apple-specific formats).
Really useful if you have a 256GB system. I put any large mac apps and games on the APFS partition, and anything non-mac specific like downloaded TV shows on the ExFAT so I can access them on my Windows PC and Android Phone.
