  positive for this is hands free, negative for this is bluetooth has to activated on your phone which will run down your battery fast. considering most smart phones already don't last long.

    Seems to me a perfectly reasonable comment by jamesvre - esp as there are visitors to OB who don't know all the technical details.

    I've never used bluetooth, for anything really, but my understanding is it's nowhere near as heavy on the battery as the wireless hotspot feature is on my Android.

  ditto mate , invest in a good bluetooth handsfree unit would be my advice , i got one by a company called blueant , top piece of kit, i love it.

      Got it on special from i-tech. It clips on your collar and you can use any 3.5mm plug headset with it. Just have to be careful of the big button that makes it a bit too easy to hang up a call.
