Saw the Aldi one, this isn't a new deal but I figured maybe some people don't know that their phone can be used as a heart rate monitor. Obviously it's not as good, but it still does an alright job.

I think this deserves BARGAIN category, it works, how the hell does it do it? Just tried running up and down the stairs and sure enough its very close to my actual pulse! Thanks to the poster you saved me some money :)
Shine light through your finger, you'll notice your finger goes darker when your heart beats, app uses the camera to see this change and that's basically all there is to it
i was wondering how it could possible do it until i saw the video.
tried it and it varies quite a bit between readings (and no, my heart beat isn't irregular)
Not really a deal its just the free version of a paid app not a paid app for free.
