UPDATE 27-7-2023 - received glasses last week (was away for a week prior so delivery time was ~ 2 weeks) . the frames are considerably good quality - i.e. not flimsy at all. they are solid. each pair of glasses came with its own case and cleaning cloth. the lenses are good - i can read. they feel stronger than the temporary "pharmacy" reading glasses I was "making do with" for the last 2 months.
when I first needed reading glasses in 2019 (?) I bought from clearly as they were least expensive.
my eyesight has changed a little and I needed new reading glasses.
got my new prescription last week.
checked out a variety of online glasses stores - e.g. Goggles4U charge ~$36 for delivery for a single pair.
Zenni optical were pricey.
eyebuydirect expensive once you added even the most basic lenses
I checked out a few others, all more expensive.
clearly currently have a sale so many frames are $0.
you just pay for the lenses to be made.
the cheapest lense is $14
so with code and delivered a single pair of glasses = $19.19
I grabbed 3 pairs of glasses (basic frames) with standard lenses- and with the code, and including delivery, it came to ~$42.
