  • Would you recommend this bike for intensive daily use as a food delivery worker ?

  • Whenever NCM advertise their ebikes they fail to mention their huge achilles heel — the weight.

This bike for example is an astounding 29 kg.

I'm not surprised. A very big battery, and those ridiculous fat tyres that a certain demographic demands.

      • I wonder what the fat tyres are for?

        • +1

They are good on soft sand. Beaches, dunes.

    • Leon Cycles DOES show the bikes' weight so I don't understand where your statement came from unless you got a personal problem with NCM bikes?
Fat electric bike = heavy = big battery, fat tires, strong frame = not the right bike for you.

      • The retailer (Move bikes) provided in this link does not state the weight - nor does the ozb description provided by the authorised rep.

NCM sell heavy bikes regardless of being ‘fat’ and their tyre configuration.

Using Leon cycles site per your reference, the trek and urban bikes of NCM Moscow Plus is 28/29 kg, NCM Milano Plus is 27 kg, NCM Aspen Plus is 29 kg

Providing context like you’ve done that it is a heavy frame, fat tires, etc is useful to shoppers to make decisions as it isn’t evident in the authorised reps posted.

  • Whenever NCM advertise their ebikes they fail to mention their huge achilles heel — the weight.

This is what you said so I replied according to that statement.
Electric FAT bikes are heavy by design, they have to be stronger, they have bigger batteries, heavier wheels and of course a heavier frame.
