I miss the George Foreman grills where you could just pop the plates off and chuck em in the dishwasher. Have one of these and although not a nightmare to clean I just wish it was removable plates like my old George foreman

I got this sunbeam model and I wouldn't recommend. Outside of the sandwich becomes literally burnt before cheese is warm enough to melt. Literally never had that on a toastie machine before and I've been using them for 15 years now
Yeah, agree with DiscountForThee. Didn't like this machine. The Breville with it's multiple height adjustments is much better. The only difference I see in this new machine is the extra block at the back to help it stand upright. This is my only complaint with the older version.

Bought one of these for the office kitchen. Great adjustable heights. Makes a very nice toastie in quick time. Outside of bread is golden brown and ingredients are nicely melted. Only negative is that because of the way the top plate is designed, it does not sit evenly and horizontal. It sits at an angle on the sandwich.
2023 model lol. Any new features? Haha.
I'm sure it's a good unit. I just can't imagine any ground breaking new tech in what is basically just a lump of metal that is heated up
