Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro 3D Printer $331.99 Delivered @ elegoo_3d eBay

ELEGOO20

In the market for a new 3D printer, thought this looked like a good deal.
Couldn't seem to remove the current coupon code for EOFY20 to be applied however.

Personally I'd pay a little more for the Sovol SV06 at $349.

    • I tossed up between the two, still undecided as I saw the reddit thread about someone who bought both to compare

dirty dogs made it so EOFY20 doesn't work

    • Yeah, I chucked in an offer for the EOFY price and they came back with $330. The thing being you can't apply the ELEGOO20 code on a counter offer either..

  • I have this printer and its very good for this price. Setup is very simple. Touch screen is responsive and easy to operate on. The steppers themselves are quiet however the fans are a bit noisy- still heaps better and quieter than the creality cr-10 i used to have. Print quality is excellent when compared to my cr-10.

    • Does it do a good job of printing items on a mass scale?

      • Havent printed on a mass scale but i would say yes. I have more confidence on neptune 3 than i had on cr-10

Curious about 3D printers. Is it that much cheaper to make a part compared to buying it ?

    • It is, there are a bunch of sites where people create files to be printed too. Have a look at a site called Thingverse. Totally free to download those files to print, and the things people make can be extremely useful too.

Also not just about cost, the flexibility around printing parts is incredible. You can make custom mounts/storage options for your stuff that you wouldn't be able to buy.
You can also print parts to fix things that would be impossible otherwise.

E.g. My daughter's stand from her tablet case recently broke. Case would have been far less useful without it, and no way to fix or buy the part individually. A few measurements and some time on fusion360 and I was able to print out the part and it's good as new.

        • Couldn't have put it better, it's incredibly fun

  • code doesn't seem to workany longer but they are offering a discount of 18% plus ebay plus code brings it down to A$324.99
thanks OP! cant wait to replace my ender 3 v2 with this!

Thanks for the heads up! Happy printing!

      • thank you! did you end up going withj the Neptune or went SV06?

        • Still leaning heavily on the Neptune, though I'm weighing up if I need the 4 or not hahaha

          • @InsertCrow: so true! i've seen the specs of teh 4 and they look good! considerable upgrades in printing speeds, etc in comp to the 3pro as well!
i've really enjoyed the 3pro quite a bit to be honest. but still in the early stages.
