I’ve called True Rewards & they told me:
- They updated their payment platform/system and banks are apparently blocking payments.
- My 2x transactions made didnt go through on their end, so should bounce back into bank accounts in 1-2 days (sounds like others are still waiting for refunds from last time though?)
Would be interested to know for those who could make payments, which banks they used.
NAB signature CC worked for me, last few deals had to get a text/approval code but this time went str8 thru

I used ZipPay and got charged but shows the order something went wrong.I believe many gift card websites have blocked Zip’s single used card, including prezzee and giftcards.com.au.
The pending transaction should be reversed in 1 or 2 days.

I’m using ZipPay. Same error but got charged.
First used cba card (error no charge) then used revolt (charged as pending)
Now we know CBA are having a major outage so that's why.
I got 3 consecutive errors, got 3 charges on my wise and it said I can't purchase more as it said I have reached the daily limit.

Failed multiple times here too. First with a CBA card and also multiple times with a 28 degrees card.
Why is this payment platform SOOO shit, the same thing happens all the time whenever this deal gets posted. It fails 80% of the time in the past
And I just noticed they charged my 28 degrees card TWICE and yet according to the website the order failed. Now I get to spend ages trying to reverse the payment for the $2 credit I never got.

It's a convenient excuse that covers a lot of users but comments show plenty of others with different banks having problems.

Been getting the "Oops, Something went wrong. Please try again" error for the last three of these deals. Tried a number of different cards (Westpac, Kogan, Bankwest) all with the same result. Customer service wasn't able to help.

Been a problem with their payment system for more than a week. Avoid.
What's really poor form is if you're going to block cards based on type (prepaid / whatever), stop the transaction based on card BIN instead of putting a pending charge on the card and then saying no.
