Mitsubishi Fridge and Choice Rating

Choice review doesn't recommend Mitsubishi fridges which has 3 models.

I'm looking for fridge specifically MR-WX700C-BR-A but bit confused about it and choice doesn't have this fridge listed or reviewed.

So took 479L for comparison.

The scoring of each section for Mitsubishi is lower than LG and choice doesn't recommend but reliability score is 92 more which I can certainly understand given Japan manufacturer and few of them are made in Japan as well. But lg also has 89% but reviews doesn't align well with this rating.

The main concern is the scoring below.

Mitsubishi score: MR-WX470F-S-A

Keeping food fresh longer score 66%
Temperature stability score 64%
Temperature evenness score 55%

Lg score: LG GF-B530BL French door

Keeping food fresh longer score 86%
Temperature stability score 90%
Temperature evenness score 80%

Those who own, can you please let me know your thoughts on choice review and real usage?

    Looks like LG paid Choice and Mitsubishi didn't.

    I didn't have that model, since I bought mine many years ago. But I had a Mitsubishi fridge and while it had no fancy parts, it was quiet, long warranty, and was well insulated.

      Take us through how you reckon this works. Is it something like this?

      Thanks for sharing. Looks like mitsubishi is the way to go. I was concerned mainly with freshness keeping score.

    It's not bribes, it's affiliate links, and the deals with manufacturers for how much they are worth.

    Take the 2021-2022 reports for example, annual report says 206,053 as at June 2022, now assuming every single one of them had a 1 year membership (not at all likely) at $83.95/year, that's only $17.3m in revenue. But the annual report showed $24m in revenue. So a MINIMUM of $7m was paid for by affiliate links. I find any review website to be pretty unreliable when they are getting paid to review.

    Choice has never liked Mitsubishi fridges. The reviews elsewhere however are great.

      But in 2021, mitsubishi was the best brand and 2022 its LG. bit confused that in 1 year, they now don't recommend their fridges ;)

    I have had a Mitsubishi fridge/ freezer for 5 years now, while its not the model that you have quoted, its an inverter model, and we could not be happier with it.
    Ours is MR- L710EG-DB-A
    Type II what ever that is.
    Extremely quiet. can put it into different modes, and a temp gauge with the vege crispers

    The Japanese built multi drawer Mitsubishi and Hitachis are great.
    I have the 560 sized version of this. Going on 7 yrs now.
