  • If this is the 'link' variant then it should connect to the myDyson app?

    • No. This is hp00

Title needs to be changed then

        • Why is it not a "Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Purifying Fan Heater (Black/Nickel)"? I literally got this from their website

          • +1

@awesometkh: You've just changed the title?
Why are you commenting as though you didn't?

Link has access to the myDyson app and is slightly different in terms of that functionality.

@Figure8: Mods changed it before I had a look so I thought it was right. Didn't change anything. My mistake.

              • @awesometkh: Ah gotcha, I assumed you had and were pretending you hadn't made a mistake. My bad on the assumption there

  • I picked up the white/silver version of the HP03 from Harvey Norman (I know… I hate myself), but they had it for $100 off ($499). I would have posted it, but it went back up to $599 later that day. If anyone wants the HP03 (in white/silver), most HN stores have em. A lot better than the HP00 - looks the same, but no app/Alexa/Google/Siri control like there is on the HP03.

Hi Graffin, what's your thought on the fan, is it noisy? Reviews are mixed, some said quiet some said noisy.
      Thanks.

I've got two of these in bedrooms, they're not quiet but you get use to it, out of ten speed settings, I keep it on 4 or 7, anything above 5 is annoyingly loud, bare in mind I only have Dyson fans (2 of these and a cooling purifier) so I can't really provide a comparison to other devices. So my standard for what's quiet might not be accurate to what else is on the market.

Heating is decent, cooling is average, more cooling from air hitting you than actually cooling the air that much.

Perk of having these is the filter helps a decent amount with hayfever, obviously it's not at the standard of the Xiaomi 3 or 4 s for purification but the heating & cooling on top of purification is great.

Filter life so far hasn't been too bad either at the rate I'm going I'll be getting two years+ out of the original ones which is weird since most reviews say it's about a year.

If you can, I'd suggest getting the link variant (think it's the HP03) as having access to the app means you can turn it on remotely, monitor filter life, set timers and the like easier, also all the air quality details are in the app.

On fan settings up to 3 it’s pretty quiet. I actually don’t mind the noise (it helps me block out outdoor sounds).

As a fan, not great. As a heater I think it does an amazing job of heating a room. I’ve got one in the master bedroom (which is quite large), another in my study which is at the front of the house and has no doors but is kinda small and it works extremely well. Just bought a 3rd one for the living room or to use in the spare room when we have guests. I’ve found it to be more efficient and faster to warm up than our Daikin ducted system that spits out cold air when it’s gotten up to temperature.

Everyone’s different , but I love these machines. Hopefully I can just take the filter out wash it, wait for it to dry and reuse it. But, at the rate I’ve been using it (almost daily in winter - it’s still at 98%).

The HP03 is way better than the HP00, but I do prefer the black/nickel to the white/silver (have 2 black and 1 white). The white looks great in the living room since it blends in well with our white kitchen and stainless steel appliances.

        • Thank you Graffin
