if you buy them on sale they might be more stale then your average kettle chips. I grew up poor and didn't know what fresh bread tasted like until i was in my 20s.

I've always thought Kettle chips were a bit substandard, but that's probably because this style of chip came out when I was overseas, and had easy access to loads of other brands.
Had a thing for Red Rock chips, before I ate way too many of them.
