Another 100% cashback for this popular VPN. Unlike Aussie based CB websites, you will get the whole 100% cashback paid.

Topcashback US allows you to withdraw via paypal or easy way to obtain a US Based virtual visa card with a 5% bonus (which i find works for US streaming services and trials - which is a bonus)

Always use a credit card with free international transaction fees and choose a state with no sales tax.

Enjoy

I note this is for the US site only, not the AU one. For different deals, the AU site has tracked US$ purchases as $AU, without conversion, so fell well short of what was expected. This however looks like it should be fine, albeit with the hassle of managing a US account as well.

Yes you will get the whole cashback plus a bonus 5% if you choose payout with a virtual visa card.

      • That does sound like a sweet bonus. Using the entire balance may be a challenge.

Not really. You can still use the card in australia.

          Or choose payout with paypal

    • the AU site has tracked US$ purchases as $AU

Shit. I think this what happened to me with the recent PureVPN deal.

My transaction got tracked as AUD when it shoulda been in USD. Chasing it up now and if nuthin happens, refund would be the only option methinks.

      • Interesting, as that cashback was from Shopback. Do you mind sharing what amounts you're working off there?

        • @chyawala
          Sure. 83.75AUD after conversion.

          • @pacificstorm: So that's how much it tracked at. Do you mind sharing the purchase price for comparison?

            • +1

@chyawala: Well SB tracked or tracking it as 54.95AUD instead of the 54.95USD which is the currency I originally paid for.

Don't bother. It NEVER tracks. I still haven't had one cashback track yet. Submitted a claim, that still didn't get answer.

    • Bro its topcashback USA lol

      • Its the same company mate, using the same software, just registered in a different country.

        • Never had an issue with them. Have about $50 USD in my account

    • Agreed only tracks 5% of the time. TopCashback are scammers.

Horrible experience with topcashback, doesn't track like Shopback or Cashrewards

Agreed only tracks 5% of the time. TopCashback are scammers.

  • It needs to be from a US account perhaps (I clicked I'm from Australia) and doesn't show the 100% cashback and cbf

    • You need to signup to topcashback usa

  • Does this even work properly? Could be risky.

    • You have 30 days to cancel the VPN. So i guess if it doesnt track within that period, your safe

I've had poor experiences with SurfShark and even when free, I wouldn't use it.

The highlight was when I was connected to their server and then checked whatismyip, it was still showing my IP & ISP. This should never happen when using a VPN.

Can also confirm this. The android app was leaking IP but would still say it was connected and everything fine, so no indication when it wasn't doing its job. Reconnecting would fix it for an unknown period until it randomly stopped working again. Logged a support ticket and got ignored.

For peace of mind I went back to Nord

  • Surfshak suffers from

    1) DNS issues, they don't manage their IPs properly, leads to blacklisting and geo-location-coding errors that can really impact speed of some services and block you (IPs rotate every connection so it might work fine for a few days, connection cycles, then you get a blacklisted IP and suddenly you'll see your google devices all disconnect due to picking up a blacklisted IP, that kind of problem)
    2) massive problem with recaptcha prompts (heavily overloaded servers)
    3) high packet loss in our region
    4) Privacy issues, accounts list your connected device details!
    5) Don't support basic VPN over VPN which is needed especially for public networks, corporate networks or basic use cases like switching one PC to tunnel to a different country without changing the entire network
    6) Couldn't get the main content providers like Disney working without completely bypassing it, thought this is common many VPNs
    7) Support sucked, not experienced with the technical aspects of VPN and networking principles

Overall they were really arrogant too, happy to take money and not resolve fundamental issues, I wouldn't deal with them again.

I so far have found cashrewards to be unreliable with tracking and really difficult to deal with their support, and takes months to get back money when tracking isn't automatic if ever, but shopback is OK, they had some notification issues with expiry, I was able to get them to reverse such an issue. I'm not sure if shopback is tracking everything, probably not, in any case I have a dedicated browser with 1 tab only for shopping using shopback with their plugin installed, definitely won't track if there is even the most minor issue with your browser so portable firefox or chrome is your friend here and just had that set aside for shopping.

  • I signed up for this a few weeks ago.
Surfshark works fine for me so far.

Re the cashback nothing shows in my topcashbak account.
Does anyone know how long it takes??

Wondering if I should just cancel surfshark??
