KFC 2 Large Chips Hack Gone for Good?

Up until recently (I've only noticed since the mashies deal came on my app), I'm no longer able to find a way to add '2 Large Chips for $5.99'.

The way it was done previously was by ordering a massive family meal or other meal with considerable value and getting the offer for the 2 large chips after adding to cart, you would add the offer and then remove the original expensive meal from the cart, leaving you with the 2 large chips at $5.99…

This hack longer exists for me 😔

Anyone have a workaround?

$10 ($4.99 each) is just a bit too much for me to take on as a quick snack for the kids

  They've also put the price up on small chips, I think they were $2.95 now they're $3.25

  KFC is a rip off.

    why do people bother with small chips there or McCrap… theres not enough to make a sandwich from.

    There aren't that many still around. We had a favourite on the way to my in-laws & they changed ownership - new owners don't make the P O T A T O
    S C A L L O P S from scratch like the previous owners used to & it now tastes awful.

      Ya mean Potato Cakes? The fish and chip places I go to tend to give you an extra potato cake in the order.

        Hey, when in Rome!

        We only get them for the kids now who aren't that fussed with the decline in taste as it's a treat for them. I miss grumpy yaya who used to complain about having to wake up at 4am in order to prep the potato scallops.

          @[Deactivated]: Yeah, we had a fish and chip shop near us that changed hands and it was never the same again. Just “tweaking” with the name. Another interstate variation issue.
