Been waiting for the 2022 LG OLEDs to go on runout sale and looks like this week is the week.
Stock is basically exhausted across all the major chains but I managed to get Appliance Central (who still have stock) to price match JBs advertised price. They’ve left the price active so sharing in case anyone else wants to pull the trigger. This TV was $16k at launch last year.
And here i thought we are under recession… ah must be just me and my wallet faults
I think there is a lot of money going around. Evident by the number of people in my local shopping centre and fanch restaurants.

Probably landlords (aka rent seekers)…a LOT of money is going from hard working renters into the not-so-hard-working pockets.
We already have the 65 inch G2 in the kitchen - stunning performance and can’t wait to see its bigger brother in action in the media room!

I've had enough bad luck with LG gear that I'm just not brave enough to drop $7.5k on anything with an LG badge. No doubt an exceptional looking TV, but not keen to play build-quality-roulette with this amount of cash.
You must be unlucky. I've owned/own LG products and have had no quality issues with any.
I've been very pleased with them - my 5 year old c7 developed a vertical line last year, well out of warranty. LG sent over a tech to replace the panel for free. Definitely would go LG for quality and support
Lucky you, our 12 year old has developed all kinds of problems and we have been told we have to just deal with it and keep him.

I wonder if they’ll do the same for the 65” C2. JB seem to be out of stock in my area.

How the heck did you get this for the top of the line new release from LG? Do you have proof?
Im in adelaide too and have been looking to pull the trigger on an 83" C2 around the 5k mark for some time - did you negotiate this price in store?
How this lg 83 inch g2 compare to 2021 sony bravia master series 83a90j ?
G2 is better, but this price is not justifying the difference
A90j(2021) is better tv than C2 & A80k of 2022

There is no comparison for the picture quality of Sony TVs, but LG G2 has a few advantages over Sony A90J.
Like all 4 HDMI ports are v2.1 on LG while Sony has only 2 HDMI (100Hz and 120Hz supported by HDMI IN 3 and IN 4) plus LG 5 years panel warranty.
I bough a90j november last year love it but when i saw g2 price down though should i have waited for lg g2
