After seeing the expired Bahco folding saw deal, went to Amazon JP to see if there were any other deals on a similar item.
The Tajima GK-G240 is similar in size and is 9TPI. Amazon AU sells it for $47, but the JP store sells it for just $21.87.

Some saws can, but it's labour intensive, difficult, and probably not worth just Buring a new blade. Even Silky blades are reasonably priced!
Bargain if the blade cuts anything like a Silky Gomboy!
Good find OP
Its japanese, must be good, wallet hurting…
Thanks OP, will be using this to cut my Japanese A5 wagyu steaks.
So what is this for? Small gardening kinda tasks?
If the quality is as good as my Silky saws, anything up to 10cm diameter it'll cut relatively easily and leave a very clean cut. I've cut stuff up to 200mm and it's doable just gets tricky with having enough stroke to clear the chips.
I use my Silky gomboy 240mm medium tooth saw for pruning, anything above 25mm. I've also got a coarser tooth version for rougher cutting of unwanted trees/branches.
Are these all pull cut saws?
Yes
Price is now $51.
Is this any good for Alone Australia S02?
Not large enough
Are you going to be on the show seriously?
Haha nope. I wish.
Keep at it if you're keen. Nothing stopping you going out and learning skills. Maybe years from now you'll give it a crack. Season 4-5? Lol.
Flagged as sold out when I tried to add it to the cart.
Goooonnne
Just saw though that the shears are back in stock.
The GK-G210 is $15.33 here.
87.5% of the blade for 70% of the price. Thats 25% more value!
Power Source Corded Electric
:)
Can these be sharpened?
Edit: do they go blunt?
