[Resolved] Woolworths, Split Transactions, Overcharge?

I was at Forest Hill, Victoria Woolworths.

Did some split transactions for MyState (just 0.01, 0.02 and 0.03) and ING.

* I already got 2 Mystate transactions at Coles and then they stopped working for some reason.

I just looked at my Woolworths Rewards tax invoice and realized it doubled my MyState transactions. (2 of each of the 3 amounts listed above)

Is anyone else getting extra transactions put through with Woolworths?

The receipt shows the total is just $4.
I added the amounts and confirmed the list of payments equals $4.06

As a one off and this kind of size, I know I haven't been affected much, here. But I'm thinking other people may be affected more, and maybe I've been affected in the past too.

I'd suggest your MyState card was blocked by them/coles for repeated transactions (flagged as fraud) but maybe your card was still authorized for the amount but it won't be processed.

I bet the transactions will fall off within a week, I could be completely wrong though

Next time you go there split the payment with an amount that is 2 cents short of the total. Then select cash for the remainder. It will round it down to zero and you'll gain 2 cents. Do this 3 times and you'll be even.

    Coles machines used to crash when doing this. No receipt, no flybuys points etc, just stuck asking for 2c and if you put a coin in it would just take it. Then the service desk would have to give you back your 10c coin. 🤣🤣

It is a glitch in the Rewards App for a long time. When split pay in one purchase, ereceipt may double or even triple a record. It is all correct on the physical receipt.

I've gone to MyState instead, to check on the transactions. Just the correct 5 are showing up. (2 for Coles; 3 for Woolworths)
