OP your title has 4.0Ah but the description has 5.0Ah.

    • Thank you, fixed

  • Can you use this to get a 10% price beat at Bunnings?

    • +7

There is no Milwaukee in Bunnings. LOL

      • LOL. what was I thinking

You can get Milkwaukee's poor cousins Ryobi & AEG, still owned by same parent company TTI

  • I paid $589 in 2014 for this kit & it is still going strong (M18PP2A-402C-MIL)
    It had 2 x 18v 4.0's back then with a free 1.5Ah 12v.
My charger definitely is not rapid.
    Good deal though.

    • Hi Mate, is the 1/4" impact driver strong enough to take off wheel nuts? Thanks

      • +2

I dont own this but have used one a few times at work. No i wouldnt recommend using the 1/4 impact to remove wheel nuts. Theyre more for driving nuts and bolts and the likes into things. For wheel nuts it'd be better to use something like this

      • It should if they are not over tightened or seized. I use my impact driver with the adapter sometimes when i can't be bothered getting out the impact wrench.

      • Yes, that's not its intended use, but yes. Off an outback, maybe not a truck.

    • out of curiosity, how often and how hard do you use the tools?

      • Bought for home use when we renovated (it never ends). I'm not a tradie, but it's been good for everything I've thrown at it (concrete, block work, softwood /hardwood, the hammer setting is slow but it works). I don't think this model has the new clutch system, so it will try to break your wrist if you bind it up. I have the luxury of not having to be hard on the tools. I expect this will be the only drill I will ever buy. This is really a gateway kit to get you into Milwaukee.

  • How strange that you get a 12v battery when you don’t get a 12v skin

    • +3

As Lewd said, this is a gateway kit. You buy the kit, notice the 12v battery and see that they sell an inflator… Bam, before you know it you have an inflator, rotary tool, torch, polisher, etc.

They know what they are doing.

    • Probably cost them stuff all and gets people into 12v tools aswell
