Hi all, have a google pixel 7 pro and heading over to USA in a few weeks for a month. Looking to get an esim and noticed that both simsdirect and travelkon have the T-mobile excellent value one. However, the travelkon team have said that this one won't work with Pixels. Anyone have any experience with this, or otherwise can recommend another esim provider. I have looked at Holafly, aside from being more expensive, the bigger annoyance is that it would be data only with them, but on AT&T. Any advice appreciated.
eSIM for USA for Google Pixel 7 - Told T-Mobile One Won't Work

Cant you buy direct?
You have to be I think a T-mobile customer of some description from what I read, and then a lot of activation business. I like the idea of these pre-purchase esims - where it's only a one step activation once you land.
Looks like T-Mobile sell Tourist Sims via Ultra Mobile https://www.ultramobile.com/tourist/
Bought a regular sim in 2017 and found the T-Mobile sim next to useless outside the built up area. Lots of roaming and roaming data was minimal (200mb?). Spat the dummy and bought an at&t sim which was a thorough PITA to activate (got the store tech to help but it still took half a hour) but it worked welll. (Conversely t-Mobile process had been “insert sim”). If you’re staying in the city T-Mobile would be fine- we were doing the NPs) ie. Vodafone vs Telstra.
Cheers. I'm also doing some NPs and some non major city areas. Just seen that Simscorner has a calls and unlimited data AT&T. That could be the go. Thanks all.
This is odd, pretty sure Google Fi uses T Mobile
Well Travelkon sold me the T-Mobile esim plan without any mention of not working on a Pixel 6a.
Sure it is not AT&T who it seems are harder to get/use re a compatible device?
Might not be any help but I used a data sim in Japan with the pixel 7 pro with no issues
