Looks like this phone is 10% off RRP, but is around $100 cheaper than other mainstream retailers right now! Eg. JB deal from yesterday and its price @ JB - $1999

Similarly, Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max (256 GB) Deep Purple - $1905.80 (9% off RRP)

If you get in quick you could possibly price match/beat at other retailers for extra savings!!! Good luck!

  • Hi all, how is the experience of purchasing Iphone on Amazon au? Such as warranty, return etc. I have used amazon au for purchasing some cheap stuff but haven't bought any expensive items. Thanks

I can't comment on buying a phone or anything >1k on Amazon, but I have bought a few things in the hundreds and they are delivered quickly (as with their other cheaper items).
Personally I reckon Amazon is pretty good with their returns too. I recently bought some item for around $100 and was able to return it through Aus Post for a $7 return fee.

      • Thanks. Generally I would prefer to price match in JB hi-fi.

That's your best bet. Get the extra savings while you're in early before they price match, that's unless you want the phone soon… can't beat next day delivery from Amazon!

FYI I've never once paid a return fee for an Amazon return.

        • Oh I think I picked 'change of mind' upon returning the item. I think in all other cases you don't have to pay the shipping cost.

      • Good luck buying anything remotely expensive on Amazon because if your account is relatively new, it will put on hold until you can prove that you are the cardholder. I have not only taken a photo of my VISA card but also given them bank statements but apparently, this isn't enough. This has happened to me 3 times now and I've given up. They did me a favour because I ended up purchasing a better laptop at TGG for a better price. Now I don't know if the same thing will occur with a mobile phone but I don't really care anymore, they're only useful to price match with. Other than that, they can go and fornicate themselves.

Just a thought, less than 3 months before the new iPhone is announce, this may drop lower.

  • pricebeat @ OW?

    • Yeah I think you should be able to, at least take a screenshot because you might need it.

      • +3

When i go into OW they search it up themselves

        • I swear they don't trust you some days… You show the price to a staff member in incognito mode - refresh the page multiple times for them and they still search it up which is just apart of their job

          • +2

@Lordeee: I've never had a single staff member approve it by looking at my phone, they always look it up themselves in my experience. Although to be fair, I do look shady AF.

        • trust but verify

    • For anyone looking to price match at officeworks, stack with 10% off gift cards from Coles. You will probably need 18-19 $100 ultimate home gift cards. But as others have said, if you are not in a rush to get a phone wait for the iPhone 15 to release in 3months, this will phone price will likely drop again before then.

      • Im going overseas plus had gift cards from 15% apple not too long ago so decent saving

iPhone 13 Pro still goes strong… let’s see what’s good on iPhone 15

    • Most likely another incremental upgrade designed for those who just wanna flex on their mates.

crazy, wait for iphone 15 with usb c in 3months

    • I thought the 14 would be the one with the USB-C, my battery capacity is 78% and dropping… If the next one also doesnt drop with USB-C it would be devastating.

      • Which phone do you currently have any how long have you had it? With all these advancements in making phone batteries last longer over a single charge, I wish there were more tests to measure the longevity of the battery after multiple charge cycles.

        • 12 . From whenever that came out.

          • @ATangk: Get Apple to put a new battery in it.

It will increase the resale even if you still decide to trade up.

            • @Grok: Was considering it before they jacked the price up, but I'm probably going to keep it anyways. Last time I did a battery swap I think they ruined the waterproof sealant, so not super keen on it unless I absolutely have to.

  • Ready for that standby mode.
