I heard the search function has the answers you seek

Not the greatest price but lowest I can find right now, especially if you get two as it goes down to about 292 with the 7% off.
Can also keep an eye on the group buy.
Edit: actually maybe computer alliance is better atm using same as this deal.
Yeah 10TB version is $263.20 atm https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/174101239181
I was hoping to get close to that with Amazon. Don't have time to stuff around with Australia Post but the best price I can find is $324 https://www.amazon.com.au/Seagate-IronWolf-Internal-Attached…
7200 RPM
Does this mean it is the noisier, older version of the Ironwolf? The VN002 version is 5400RPM. May be a consideration for some, if you have hard drives at your desk and not in a server closet.
Data sheet from Seagate: https://www.seagate.com/content/dam/seagate/migrated-assets/…
Thanks for sharing this info, I didn't even notice there were multiple versions of the 8TB Ironwolf.
I see the VN002 version also uses almost HALF the power of the 7200rpm version and only loses about 3.8% data transfer speed. Seems like a worthwhile trade to me for something that's running almost all the time. I'll keep an eye out for the 5200rpm version. Cheers.
Edit - actually, I can't find anyone selling the ST8000VN002 to Australia in anything like a reasonable price.. only one I can find is sending from Germany for $600+post =(
Not sure if I'd pay that anymore since I manage to snag this last deal.

Once you go cheap, you never go back
Does CA allow pickup on ebay orders?
Any good deals on 10-12TB? I need 8TB more but always good to get slightly more than needed with NAS storage…
