Plenty of reviews on the US Amazon site, though mainly for the 2TB and smaller sizes. Looks like a very reasonable drive for storage, though pricing is not a bargain, and in fact about AUD$50 higher than last sold at US Newegg (currently OOS).
though pricing is not a bargain
If you can find cheaper 4TB SATA drives then post some links !
This is a great price 🤷🏼♂️
how does this compare:
https://www.amazon.com.au/Silicon-Power-Internal-Solid-State…Likely to be quite similar, both are budget QLC based drives. A55 from your link has 2x stated endurance of 2000 TBW.
$256 is cheaper
"Or fastest delivery 28 - 29 August."
2 months delivery vs 2 weeks for the TeamGroup
Why can't other companies take note of the graphic design on this? This looks like a classy premium product in a world full of garish gimmicky RGB crap.
It looks like a box of "premium" condoms though.
Ehhhh
I don't really see it, but I suppose it's just a matter of this design looking premium for any context and condoms being no exception.
It's the words Extra Large that do it.
@scupper: Hmm. I did think it was strange that the box keeps promising to keep you in a 'solid state'.
Anyone tried these? Seems like a great idea for a pc that doesnt have a nas, to store non important stuff like their linux isos or steam game cache
