    Duh i thought the drone

  • Isn't it $199 before?

    • +2

Think the non-plus is pretty close to the $200 mark at the moment. This is the Plus pack though.

    • +2

      Not the plus one mate.

      • -4

        Photo is the same.

        • +3

Because the kits are essentially the same, the only difference is the battery capacity.

Given the batteries go in to the same drone, the form factor will be the same.

        • +2

I don't choose the photo. I did make the title say Plus, and tagged the Plus kit though. I can only do so much!

Is there a decent "follow me" drone yet with collision avoidance for a reasonable price?

  • +4

If you don't mind a refurb drone then DCXpert have them for $935 with the 'SEOFY22' eBay plus coupon - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/235021392326

I messaged them asking about DJI Care and they told me they're official refurbs from DJI Australia.

  • Still cannot decide the plus battery pack or the standard one, as the standard one will make the drone less than 250g

    • +2

If you do not fly more than 25 minutes in each session, better to stick with standard battery. I usually take 10-15 minutes of drone session at each scene, and that has plenty of footage I need.

FYI the plus batteries put you over the 250 limit, making you have to legally register it.

    • +2

      Only if flying for work.

The batteries don't put you over the 500g limit which also means registration is free anyway.

i don't think you travel much outside of oz, lol.

it does put you over the 250g limit which is the cutoff in many other countries. i wanted more flight time so i got the plus batteries, come to find out i was over the limit. you are perfectly fine with the regular batteries.

          Strange flex, but ok dude.

          • -1

@Rogue01: nothing strange, not a flex either. just saying that i have been to many countries where that 250g limit is enforced. nothing beats real world experience.

if you stay in oz, you have no issues. i would rather get an AIR or other bigger and better drone if i only stayed in oz.
