  • Strong enuff to blow party balloons?

  • Are these air compressors the right type for spray painting? Considering to use it (if it works) for miniature spray painting

    • I can't see a moisture trap on this one or even a tank to store the air. Seems like this one is meant for inflating tyres or inflatable beds/ dinghies when campiing.

    • Are you looking for an air powered sprayer or an airbrush if you’re painting miniatures?

Most compressors are (profanity) off loud. If you’re going to be painting minis for gaming or something - you’ll probably enjoy the experience more with a quieter setup. They made tolerably quiet and small/light weight units specific for airbrush applications. If you’re not planning to run heavier air tools - I’d look for something specifically aimed at airbrush use.

Nope. You might be able to get it to work if you add a storage tank to it (like a sodastream or paintball cannister), but in general, given how cheap small air compressors are it doesn't make a lot of sense.

I bought a Warrior branded one that's damn near identical from Mitre 10 about 17 years ago and it's still going, been my go to for years and pack it in the car for long trips. It recently had a bit of a anyeurism, but it's actually fixed itself somehow. Would totally buy another one at this price, might have to sign up to Onepass to do so.

Probably most people will be too into their battery one to buy this, but 99% of the time it's not that hard to pop out to the car to power it, and you can get a ciggie lighter adapter for your power point with the money you save

  • Dang its sold out now.
