I have been looking for a magic magnetic KB/stand combo for my newly purchased iPad Pro 12.9" and noticed this one was on sale for 22% off.
Well reviewed and can't go wrong with ESR brand for under $150.

$139.99 today which is still cheaper OP deal
This connects to the iPad via Bluetooth. Just as an FYI.
It's a shame the Logitech Combo Touch has gone back up to 229 on amazon. I had this ESR and bought the Logitech Combo and consider it a massive upgrade. Keyboard/Touchpad register and feel much nicer, instantly connects, overall quality feels better. I couldn't go back. But ignorance is bliss for those who haven't used something better
Does the combo stay up on its own? and, if you have you tried the Magic keyboard, how does it compare?
Doesnt the combo have a kickstand? Its very different (and very conventional)
the kickstand is the one downside (if you're putting it on your lap/on couch/in bed etc.) It works fine but isn't as easy as the Magic Keyboard/ESR. I haven't yet tried the magic keyboard and i wont be unless i can afford it… but i imagine no kickstand plus the charging pass through will make it an even better solution depending on your uses, but, ignorance is bliss….
@HiFiGearOnline: Contrary to what you say, I find a kickstand significantly easier to put on your lap/on the couch/in bed because it is more stable than a flat surface when put on such non flat surfaces. And being able to remove the keyboard when not in use makes it more versatile too.
I used the combo touch for about a week before I got sick of it - poor design IMO. Only good for desktop, and I use iPad on the go, so I want it to work on any non-level surface (lap, couch, laying in bed, lecture style side table - logi can handle these well). I like a detachable backcover though!
(Can’t justify price of Magic Keyboard- would never buy one)detachable (but still in a case) is also a great plus, and my main reason for purchasing with some travel coming up, (can detach on planes/trains for movies)
@HiFiGearOnline: Edit: - logi CAN’T handle these well
Besides the Bluetooth issue, why is ESR far inferior to Logi? Looks great with the floating design imo. I can’t decide between the 2
Because of the bluetooth connection, no protection on the sides, the angle position is limited on the ESR compared to the Logitech Combo Touch
The 11” was $105 on Amazon few days back during mid season sale
