  • I've got three Lenovo laptops, generally they're pretty good, but I've got to say that 300nits just isn't bright enough, even for a bright office.

  • 1.46kg for a ‘slim’ 14” is there any closer to 1kg besides the lg gram?

  • Shame its still using the old gen GPU instead of RDNA.

  • Anything in the education store with usb c display out 14" and the 680m/780m iGPU?

    • +1

They have the IdeaPad Pro 5 16" if you choose the model with the 7735HS processor - I think this has the 680M graphics.

      Display is 16" 2.5k, 350nit IPS.

There are two USB-C ports, one is USB4 and the other is usbc 3.2 gen2 - both display port and PD.

$1215.05 for the 16GB DDR5 model or can spec with 32GB for $285 more.

There are also various thinkpads with the 6850 CPU

      • if only that came in a 14" version! I guess the smaller versions have the 7735U (rebadged 6800u) in them? why does AMD have to be such vaporware! they may beat intel on paper, but that's scant use if you can't buy one!

Reality is AMD are delivering 5000 series to market competing against intel 13th gen, there's not many true 7000 series Zen 3+ chips around, I wonder why,
