Suggest that people do some research on topbuy before ordering, make an informed decision.

    End transmission.

    • ^ This. I've had a rather regrettable experience with them.
(Bought a phone, was a grey import, so came with some dodgy adapter..)
Had I known this, I would have bought from somewhere that had Oz stock.

      • :( oh well i guess when u go for the cheapest u dont get the best
wouldnt the same happen with kogan tho for $578?

        • Possibly, but you're more likely to get a response and a satisfactory result out of Kogan than you are TopLie.

I'm sure there's plenty of bad experiences from all (r)etailers, but some really do seem to go out of their way to make life miserable for purchasers. This mob is definitely one to avoid.

      • As much as I'm not a fan of topbuy are you saying that the reason you regretted the purchase was that it came with a power point adaptor? If that's the reason, no s**t sherlock; if it's not marked as Australian stock (and is several hundred dollars cheaper). It's not their fault that you have no idea. Look on eBay if you want a genuine AU AC Galaxy S3 charger, it'll set you back about $15 ($20 or so posted). Still miles ahead on almost any AU stock, I think the cheapest AU stock was flingshot at around the $650 mark.

      • You already saved $100+ for buying grey imports, how difficult is it to find a adapter/charge which can be used in Australia??!
