Wanted to get this latest FIFA 23 game for my son to play on the Switch. I prefer cartridges so you can sell them on in the future.
Reading the reviews it seems like a rinse and repeat of previous years with a few new players and strips so wasn't willing to spend a lot.

I'm think about getting this as I bought fifa18 when the switch launched and they haven't essentially upgraded the game since then. But this is pretty cheap

This game is fine as long as you understand what you're buying. It is not the same game as FIFA 23 on Xbox or PS - its a re-skinned version of the previous gen (360/PS3) FIFA 18.
It is however the closest thing youll get to a current FIFA game on Switch with updated squads and kits - which is pretty good for $25. One thing to note is that it doesnt (or didnt) get mid-season squad updates, so the squads are all as they were at the start of the season e.g. Ronaldo still at United, no Joao Felix at Chelsea etc…

Won’t matter for the switch.
FIFA on switch should be avoided on all cost, it’s the same iteration since the 2018 game.
Just noting that this is the same game since 2018 just a new cover and updated squad lists.
