3070 performance for $700. Nah
Performance is a LOT better than the 3070. Whether its worth the 760~ price is up to you, but comparing its performance to a 3070 is straight misinformation.
Especially with 8gb VRAM, it can't compete with the mess of unoptimized newer AAA games.
It is very similar performance when the VRam is NOT a issue.
The 3070 issue with VRAM does not make this card increase its value. $760 still too much for It.

The RX6800 is closer to a 3080, than a 3070 in performance. And VRAM definitely does increase the cards value, im not sure how you could even state otherwise. With how newer games require much more VRAM, il be shocked to see games (other than competitive games) where VRAm isn't an issue.

Pretty much same performance than 3070ti. Very close to 3070.
But there are plenty of information avaliable everywhere. People believe wherever they want.
For sure it is faster in titles with vram issue. The price that is just ridiculous.
6700xt for $480 is a better buy.
@Dienk: Yeah from that same video it shows the RX6800 outperforming the 3070ti by around 5% in total with the games tested. So comparing a GPU that beats a 3070ti and the comparing it to the 3070, is not an accurate comparison.
I will agree that there might be/are better purchases for price, but that was never my point.

I bought the 6700 for $380 a couple of months ago. I couldn't justify paying double for +30-40% performance as I was looking for best bang for my buck.

GPU prices today is rip off
I got 6800, nice card but not at this price in 2023. Undervolt to 900-920 (depend on which games), ~170w 70 degree hot spot temp.
This is now down to 752.80!
$600-$650 or less is the price to buy, it could never happen but $700 and above is too expensive.
