Starts Saturday!
Just bought the v3 80% after much deliberation.
Code starts tomorrow. I got a 10% off after adding items to my cart and waited a day, I assume they won’t stack, I took the gamble anyway

No Q2 Knob!
I really regret thinking I could leave the purchase for a few hours during the mwave sale.
The Q4 was the last one to be sold out during that sale and I'm also regretting not buying it after having it in the cart for hours.
Recommendations on K1 Pro vs K3 pro for Office and Gaming?
I get the sense that that would highly depend on how loud your keyboards can be (if noise is an issue, I frankly think it's much easier to stick with some decent membrane keyboard) and what kind of keyboard you like.
Mechanical keyboards tend to have longer travel (there is more distance for the each keys to travel when you press them) compared to memberane keyboards out there. I have both low profile mechanical keyboard (Razer one) and a "normal" mechanical keyboard at work, I personally find normal profile one easier on my hand, but I think that's more a personal preference and what you are used to?
Also, K3 look like it's a 75% layout that's condensed to save as much space as possible. I personally like 75% that are more spread out, because when they are condensed like that it's really difficult to touch type (the lack of gaps mean that you might end up hitting the key above while typing if you use muscle memory)
I would lean toward the K1 as I don't like the row of keys on the side without a gap. I use a K6 and activate the RGB lighting by accident enough for it to be annoying. Otherwise, I would recommend a 65% if you're comfortable without the function keys otherwise a 75%.
I've found it to be fine for most games and productivity if you're not entering numbers. There was utility for tagging photos that was difficult without a full sized keyboard and MS flight sim, IIRC, also requires a full sized board.
Thanks for the tip OP!
Will leave a Q2 Pro in the cart and hope the coupons stack.
Confirmed - they don't stack
Damn! Was worth a shot
Any recommendations for a tactile wireless mechanical keyboard (not too noisy and non linear)?
I’m hoping to get an all rounder one.
I have the G915 and love it for gaming but hate it for everything else. I find the keys too close to each other and keep getting typos.
I have the MX keys and I think they are awesome.
I have an evga mechanical keyboard but the keys are too high and my finger keeps on getting stuck between them.
is this any good?
Keychron K10 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard
RGB Backlight Aluminum Frame / Gateron G Pro Mechanical (Hot-swappable) / Brown
Sure, being able to hotswap is good so you can easily swap out the switches if you don't like the travel/weight/feel of the browns.
just replaced my failing g915 with a k5 v1 and love it
k5 is out of stock in the site. what do you think about K5 Pro?
if you’re comfortable using taobao these keyboards can be bought for a bit cheaper than in australia. i bought the keychron k3 pro from the official keychron store for $133.72 including taxes and shipping by air (sea is even cheaper). even with 10% off on the australian keychron store it’s $174 shipped.
Nice keyboard but how can no price be a bargain?
Sorry what’d do you mean?
I suppose their referring to there being no price in the title.
I just got the k5 v1 red mech and am extremely happy.
so good to have a wired+Bluetooth full size with keypad in a slim ff
