great tent, shame it can't be fully opened up inside
Actually we preferred that walls were in built and fully sealed. If you want it open I would suggest https://www.anacondastores.com/camping-hiking/tents/family-t… which is a great price at $299 atm and was comparable in every other way to the coleman (minus the lights)
I'd like the option to fully unzip the compartments rather than just an entrance between each, regardless it's a great tent, hook up a usb powerbank to the LED lights rather than the huge D battery box they supply and you're sorted
What do you mean by fully sealed? It has a zipper and gaps at the top. I found the lack of ceiling hooks a big issue - can't hang ceiling fans or additional lights.
the ability to unzip the internal wall compartments & tie back / remove rather than just a zipped doorway in the walls
you can buy canvas hooks with an adhesive patch that work well
Is the blackout as good as the coleman dark room?
Nice suggestion, but I am quite sure that this range of Coleman tents is inferior to the "beige" Northstar Darkroom tents. Inferior materials used etc. So please do your own research.
