This is a decent deal if you need 'this one'; and a STARVIS sensor will LEGITIMATELY be good; they're used commonly in drone racing, so I'm quite experienced with them.
Dash cams though? After trying several, It's so hard to compete with VIOFO.
Yep, you can start unticking "features" with a lot of their stuff, but if what you want is good quality video, with a bitrate you can choose (so, it can be CRYSTAL clear); which is really what I'm looking for in a dash cam, then you can't go wrong.
Don't forget, high bitrate 1080p can easily outperform low bitrate 4k when you're samping from similar size sensors.
Certainly a YMMV and opinion based topic though; it depends what you need.
