damn that is a very beautiful laptop. Very rarely you see a 15/16inch with a TKL design. and this has a very high screen-to-body ratio too (i personally really dislike bezels and long thanos chins). hiding the chin underneath the body and using it as a leverage for additional cooling is really cool.

    QHD or 1920 x 1080?

    Specs show:
    Display Resolution
    2560 x 1600

    • Model number suggests:

      ROG Nebula Display
      16-inch
      QHD+ 16:10 (2560 x 1600, WQXGA)
      IPS-level
      Anti-glare display
      DCI-P3: 100%
      Refresh Rate: 240Hz
      Pantone Validated
      G-Sync
MUX Switch + NVIDIA® Advanced Optimus
      Support Dolby Vision HDR: Yes

      Edit:

Actually did a bit more research and it's a bit confusing:

The part number on some other vendors suggest its, 240hz QHD, and on some others its 1920x1200 165hz, OW themselves say its 1920x1080 240. On Asus's own website the 4060 model does say it's 1920x1200 165hz so I don't know why Officeworks says QHD 240hz, but then again 1920x1080.

Tempted to just buy to test it out, worst case return it if it's not QHD 240hz becuase of misleading description.

The screen in the ASUS absolutely craps all over these. 100% DCI-P3 vs 45% NTSC is actually just funny.

that's a no for me dawg just on looks alone.

    • I'd recommend the MSI's for those that just focus on gaming. For those that want a laptop that looks good and has a better colour accuracy, the ASUS. I'd feel embarrassed getting the MSI out at work, but if I was back in my Uni days wanting to game at night in my room and have the ability to take it with me, the MSI 15" would have been my pick.
