Hi ozbargain, anyone know any gun accountants you would recommend in Melbourne for personal and small business tax related queries?
I have my day job and a side hustle thats kind of gotten going that I want an accountant to have their eyes over and advice me on how to structure everything up and what I can and cant claim.
My current accountant is a bit meh, bit of a language barrier but also isn't very engaging or motivated.
Steer clear of financial advisers imo. 95% of them are dodgy and will just get you into anything that gives them kickbacks and overcharge you for basic work. Also you don't need to go to uni to become one. Accountants at least have minimum standards and qualifications.
PwC have a few openings for new customers I heard.
PwC is definitely the one to use if you want to do proper tax planning and maximise your savings if you get what I mean.
I’ve heard they’re very good, you can essentially end up paying $0 tax completely!
