Funny to think I paid $300 for 16gb years ago (during the random ram shortage). Now I'm buying 64gb for $140…

    • 300 for 16gb would be high end ram rather than this standard speed / latency kit.

      • Yeah it was flare x. I dont think it really made much difference though because i never bothered to overclock it, plus right now im definitely needing more ram rather than faster ram.

  • These prices are getting ridiculous. What a shame I'm preparing for an AM5 build later this year…

  • Anyone know if this pairs well with a Ryzen 5 2600?

  • +7

I have absolutely no reason to upgrade from 16gb. Grabbed it anyway though.

      thats the ozb spirit

I don't even know if it's compatible with my system, also grabbed it. -_-

Don't let the RBA hear you say this!

  • Some people having issues with Booting using XMP on some motherboards (search for your motherboard and Corsair vengeance xmp)

  • Can anyone confirm if dual rank?

I wish there were equally cheap AM4 CPUs and motherboards to use this RAM.

    • yeah i got my 5700x… should really buy a motherboard already ,😂

  • This is basically so cheap it's irresponsible to not upgrade. Just wish it was 3600 c16 like my current ballistix

Nice. My Amazon return window is still open for 2x8gb of the exact same memory I bought for $62. A $7 return fee but… Double the memory for a total difference of $15 is well worth it! Thanks OP!

Select another reason, to have $0 return fee.

    • +1

literally just choose any reason that costs $0 for return. Or talk to chat if you’re worried about doing that and they will provide a return for free

      • Yeah I am aware, thank you… I figured I'd eat it on this one to hopefully keep my account in good standing.

The amount of shit I return to Amazon compared to how much I order (and spend), and the condition thereof almost warrants a blacklist haha… I doubt I am alone but yeah…

Or do you think there is no way they'd blacklist for repeated returns on marginal value items? 😂

        • My obz membership and the inspiration from these comments got the better of me. Cancelled the return and initiated a different one with a $0 reason. Cheers fellas, sorry Jeff.

  • I have 32gb now, do I need 64GB lol
    It’s also out of stock

  • Showing as $111 for me

  • Deals over by the look of it

Ha, I think I just scraped in and got it at the cheaper price just minutes ago! No harm in adding this to the existing 16Gb RAM I already have is there?

  • Temporarily out of stock but ordered one for myself! Hope they get back in stock and send one. Thanks OP!

  • Damn, just missed it, showing $111 now.

    • still showing 70 for me, but temporary out of stock. Can still add it to cart though. the $111 price is next seller, try if you can change the seller and select the amazon OOS ones

      • I would've pulled the trigger if it showed 70 when I first looked, but taking the moment to think that it gave me, I reckon I'm going to wait for a good price on the RGB sticks instead. Thank you though!

  • Ahh I missed out!

  • I've got 5600G. No OC. A lot of people asking whether RAM is AMD compatible. I bought some Silicon Power 2x16GB sticks without checking for compatibility. Is it gonna be an issue?

    • Prob not… Ram is ram at the end of the day, as long as it's the DDR compatible with your board, but… The specifics will be the difference between how it actually performs in the real world eg. Timings.

Likely if it fits, and it matches, it'll work fine… But also best to check your motherboards approved ram vendor list too.

      I have 5600x

  • Cheers OP, being delivered tomorrow.
