Does cashback work if I purchase with gift vouchers?

If I partially pay with gift cards, will the cashback be for the entire amount or the amount paid without gift cards?
Important: Gift cards can be used as payment with The Good Guys, however their value is excluded from cashback calculations. Only the portion that's paid without gift cards is eligible for cashback

Would you then launch from cashrewards (to new browser tab), then continue applying code to special reduced link tab, or is the tracking tab-specific (somehow, I don't know the coding)?
