I own this and for $150 I'd call it great value, I think you'd have to spend double to significantly beat it. The bad: terrible speakers, 1080p is a bit low-res for anything text-driven, not everyone likes a curve, no height adjustment. The good: the Freesync works a treat, brightness and contrast are pretty good, and to my untrained eye the colours are noticeably nicer than on any comparable <$400 monitor I've used, well-rounded and vibrant without cranking saturation.
Note that if you look this model up for reviews or specs, it comes in two variants, silver and black (this one), that actually have quite different specs. The silver one tops out at 60Hz, for example.
Not after the curved, was after the flat IPS one they had for $109. On that note, why waste money on a curve when you don't even have a decent res yet?
