Multi-Purpose Grooming Massaging Massage Pet Gloves - $2.99 Shipped

10

There are four free products on that site - all you pay is $2.99 shipping. I reckon the glove is the most useful and worth paying $3 in postage.
Comparable glove on Ebay is $5.85.

      Useful comment…No

      • That's OK. I have searched on the site before and people in the post I have found said that Topbuy is OK. I have never had any problems with them.

  • I received my phone alarm thingo the other day. Paid $.01. Not sure what it can be used for, certainly not a phone alarm. Glove looks interesting. It's $5.50 on dx

  • don't put free if there's shipping

    • But the gloves are free - if you care to go there they will give it to you for free.
Charges for product and charges for shipping are substantially different from each other.

Also mate, you did not vote on the deal but on semantics. You just breached the rules of Ozbargain.

      • You can't pickup items from Topbuy. I've fixed the title up for clarity.

I know that - just trying to make a point that technically the item is free - the charges are for the transport, not for the item.
The fact that they are different items is obvious as all companies seaprate them out in their invoices. If it was all the same companies would not be required to do this by Australian law.
Also, he did not vote on the deal, just on semantics which technically is a breach of the rules of this website.

The allocation of price to the product or shipping component is irrelevant, as pickup is not available to anyone, the final price is $x delivered, that's all anyone needs to know.

Did you even look at the website? The rubber gloves are $2.99 delivered, if you order 10 it's $29.90 delivered. You think $29.90 to send rubber gloves are purely for transport costs? Wow.

        • Of course not. But as any first year business student knows the initial copies are the expensive ones. If you buy 10 of course it would not just cover postage. But if I am not mistaken you can only get 1 each of the freebies.
If I sent you those gloves from say France the $2.99 would indeed simply be for postage and packaging.
Again, technically charges for products and shipping are different - check the Aussie law forcing companies to set out out separately (check also the various accounting rules for those charges)

Will these work on my human partner?

I guess so but I won't give a guarantee. Depends on how hairy he or she is. ;-)

Exactly the same glove in any bargain shop: $2-$2.50
Seeing people paying twice as much for bargain shop cheapies: Priceless!!
