I've just bought a Canon R8 body myself and was checking the Canon website and noticed this deal just started today. Might be worth stacking this with any upcoming EOFY deals that come up. Despite the picture of the cow, you don't need to travel to get the cashback.

How to Claim:

1. Fill the claim form online
   Simply make an eligible purchase from an authorised Canon Australian retailer between 29 May 2023 and 9 August 2023 and keep your receipt and box.
   Claim here and fill in your details including name, phone number, valid email address and physical address (if applicable) by 19 August 2023.

2. Upload your product details
   Simply upload a photo of your receipt and serial number and let us know how you would like to receive your claim (digital gift card, physical gift card or EFT transfer).

3. This is the fun bit!
   Once the claim has been validated, you will receive an email and SMS within 3 business days, letting you know if your claim has been approved. If you opted to receive a digital gift card, you will receive it via email within 7 business days. EFT transfer will be within 10 business days. Physical gift cards will be received within 14 business days (of confirmation of the claim being approved).

e.g. cheapest R8 body at time of posting is $2214 after cashback from Ted's Cameras. Seems like some retailers are already including the cashback in the displayed prices.

  The R8 has been cheaper at Digidirect + eBay 20% for under $2100 including the 24-50mm lens. If you’re not desperate to get one into your hands right away I’d suggest waiting for a similar deal.

    Stack with current TCN GC deal equivalent to a further 10% off, or just buy JB GC from Shopback app at 2.5% discount.

    Great deal there, and kinda wished id held out a bit longer now lol. I got mine for $2250 a week ago but stacked with $450 after annual fee cash back with Citibank Premier card, which is still on for one more day until May 31. Potentially could get the R8 for sub $1.5k depending on getting pro rata annual fee refunded on that card.

    And… that could also stack with the TCN deal you posted, so possible sub $1350… I think I need to hand in my OzBargain membership now.
