Should I use a debit card without foreign transaction fees to pay for a hotel booking or cop the 3% fee with my credit card?

Another thing to consider, if they place any hold on funds , more annoying with a debit card as you lose access to your own funds.
I would be using the ING Orange Everyday and I have travel insurance already.
I prefer to use Expedia and pay now with my credit card… they dont charge any additional fees for my Amex.
Almost always credit card is better due to the protections you get. How much is the 3% extra in dollars?
$120 for the booking I'm looking at now.
I think a debit card using Visa/MC has the same protections as a credit card.
Things to consider
whats the exchange rates they use?
does the credit card give free travel insurance in case of cancellation?
do u have the money now or do u want to pay in 55 days later (credit card)?
points?
