      Depends, many customers would use it directly on the wall, if the wall is flat and even.

          The glasses are Wemax brand but I belive they are all TI technology when DLP.

      If you want to get the best result from a UST projector yes you need a UST screen. A white screen, gray screen or wall are all inferior. You can get a good explanation and comparisons at https://darkenergyscreens.com.au
