My Renpho scale finally broke after about 7 years of use (one of the feet came off making the readings inaccurate after I stuck it back on). So looking through the market, I was pleased to see the Renpho still wins the prize for a set of budget smart scales. A lot of the newer ones seem to have WiFi instead of Bluetooth so you don't have to open up your phone to get the tracking into the app -> Apple Health, but the Bluetooth pairing has always been instant & faultless for me.
While on Amazon, this model looked a little bit different (and less fancy?) than my current model, but when looking on Renpho's website, they are both the same model (Elis 1). Just one is described as 'With Pattern' and 'Without Pattern', with this model coming in slightly cheaper, and a slightly smaller size:
With Pattern: 280* 280* 24mm
Without Pattern: 260* 260* 23mm
I'm taking the gamble and will post in the next couple of days whether it seems like it's inferior to the previous model in any significant way :D
these aren't too bad in general
