User DC notes:-
- This is for New coles mobile customers only (aka if you are on coles mobile already- you need to port out then port into coles mobile again). Best way is to get Boost sim from Cashrewards deals for porting (and wait for delivery), otherwise you can buy $5 sim starter kit instore if you need quick porting in and out.
- Don't forget to turn off auto recharge. Turning of auto recharge ensures you get sent an offer of continuing with coles mobile on your last month (with 20-25% of recharge RRP)
- What if I dont recharge- Your number becomes deactivated 90 days after recharge expires aka you got 3 months ish to port or recharge in order to save your number
- Better to go with 60 GB plan unless you want more data then may be go for the $169 one for 200 GB or wait for 120 GB plan to go on special for $120. Otherwise you are really not benefiting for paying extra for more data
- if you continue with coles mobile in future, after 12months (not port-out and recharge mobile before expiry you can rollover upto 50GB existing data too)
- Instore price may be different
- Ongoing recharges at $120/$200 (depending on what plan you bought)
- Roaming Charges
- Can these receive SMS when traveling overseas? - Yes
- Does these do VOLTE, and VoWifi - Yes
- Do I need to enable roaming - No
- Other pricings like roaming/premium numbers etc
This could come in handy when overseas because if you turn off data and don't receive calls you can still take advantage of "receive free sms". Very handy for 2FA and emergencies. If you did accidentally incur roaming charges does it come out of "phone credit" or is it an instant charge?
