    Awesome

the only question now is, Is this prepaid or post paid ? Credit checks or not ?

    • They state it's a billed service in their CIS, so post paid. Unsure about credit checks.

      • +2

All billed services are credit checked.

  • +2

Can I just use this for the first two months then go somewhere else.

  • +5

No international roaming if anyone cares…. https://www.aussiebroadband.com.au/help-centre/mobile/how-do…

    • Wish they would. Bit of a dealbreaker for me.

  • Can I bring multiple numbers (ie me and the kids) or just one per account?

    • '*A ‘new mobile customer’ is defined as an individual who signs up for a new mobile
plan with Aussie Broadband at the time the offer is applied.'
This is what I could find in their promotional details. Not sure if it helps.

    • You can bring any amount of sims per account and the promo applies for each sim. 1 number per sim.

Seems expensive. And about time providers stop with 5G at a premium, it's just upgraded 4G - nothing special once you use it.

  • +1

Will be good if no credit checks

  • -1

    How fast is the 5G?

  • Is there eSIM?

    • No.

  • -2

these deals are so boring ABB EOFY

  • +1

    Network?

    • +3

      Optus

      • +2

should be in the title i think

  • how about wifi calling ??

  • So with referral link on $50 4G plan it’s 3 months free

    • +1

No because it $50 off your next bill which is free

      • Ah right

    • I just looked through the T&C's and looks like referrals doesn't apply to Mobiles and you can only either receive referral bonus or Promotion/Discount but not both.

      • New customers signing up can receive a referral credit or a promotional/discount offer, but not both
      • This program only applies to residential NBN and OptiComm services, and small business NBN services. It does not apply to any business grade service.
      • This program does not apply to mobile services on their own.
  • So what network do they run on?

Edit: Saw that its Optus and its currently bad coverage in our area. :( Otherwise good deal!

  • +1

Thank you Optus for providing 5G to the vacant lots of land near me but not the established ones, very helpful.

Guess I might as well take the 2 months and just use it for data and the number for signing up bonuses :D

    How to quit?

    • +2

      How to quit?

      Port!

      • ????

        • +1

          ????

Oh I’m sorry - you meant how to quit heroin?

I can’t help you with that I’m sorry. That’s something you’ll most likely have to nut out your ownself.

There’re Narcotics Anonymous chapters all over though, if that helps, and it’s free to attend which I guess constitutes a bargain…

    • Just port out your number when finished 2 months free or call to Aussie Broadband to cancel the sim plan.

      • the issue is that how to port out and if there is a way to do it myself or do i have to call them?

        • the easiest way is just call them to cancel
to port out you have to buy a plan from another provider then you can port out

        • +1

you don't have to, I have port out three times by myself, no need to pay anything.

  • Can you activate past June 30 to get the free months? Just about to port over to Boost today

    • +4

Me too, was wondering same thing. YMMV but I just asked them on chat and they said 'yes'. 30 June is last day to order using that code, SIM must be activated within 30 days after that, so ~29 July if you ordered on last day. Keep in mind it'll take a week or two to be delivered so if you're porting from Boost at the end of the month then you'd want to order it soon.

Hi, wondering about details of your EOFY4G deal
It says offer ends 30/06/2023, is that the last day I can buy it, or last day it has to be activated?
      Becc 15:21
That's the last day you can place an order using that code 🙂
      Me 15:22
e.g. I only just switched to another company just today, so I have a month with them. Wondering if I sign up with you in last few days of June can I activate the sim in July and still get 2 months free?
      Becc 15:22
      Absolutely you can 🙂
      Me 15:22
Ok so if I place an order on 29 June, SIM takes a week to be delivered, will it still be free to activate and use for 2 months to try it out if I activate in July (within 30 days of ordering)?
      Becc 15:22
You have 30 days to activate the Sim from the date you order it 🙂

      • Thanks!! I'll order it on Monday 😊

  • +1

For anyone who has activated this, is the billing period from activation date, or order date? Got stung by Mate's deal where it was order date and lost out on a month lol

    • +1

Activation date, i.e. activating the service on 26 May resulted in:

      Billing Period: 26 May 2023 -> 25 Jun 2023

      • Thanks, will order now 😊

  • Hey guys how long did it take for the email to come to confirm the order? Havent received mine?

    • +1

I ordered last night, didn't get a confirmation email but today got a text saying despatched and an email on how to activate

  • Can the ABB SIMcard be found at retail outlets or petrol stations? If so, where may I find?

  • Is a fee charged after 90 days of not activating?

    • -1

      bump

  • I know using Optus network but full network? Full 4G/5G Optus speeds? Ordered 1x today more to come lolz

  • HOW DID U FIND THIS ?

  • I guess once you used $50 IDD credit, call will be charged at the rates for specific country. Can we block international calls once $50 is exhausted?

  • Any feedback from those who already ported in? Specifically from mate or tangerine.

    • I ported from Mate, what y wanna know?

      • any dramas? I'll be following your footsteps haha

        • +1

None at all. Smooth as for me!

  • Has anyone ordered this and have had a credit check done on their file?
