Was going through my Rewards app and noticed this, pretty good deal but most likely targeted. Effectively 25% off depending how close to $40 you get.
Eligible on purchases both in-store and online.

Me too. But it's not much 7*40=280 plus 2000.
Interesting - T&C says in-store and online but the graphic says "In-app only".
Yeah that threw me off a bit, not sure if you can activate these Rewards boosters on the website as well, and maybe this one is only available via the Rewards app?
In-app only means you will only be able to boost this offer through the Everyday Rewards app (which means you must be targeted by this offer for you to be able to boost it). Once you boost it, eligible purchases instore and online at BIG W will trigger this offer.
Combined with 3000 points ($15) for spending $30 at either Woolworth, Big W or BWS to get 5000 points fpr $40 spend. This is from a separate ER offer.
What happens if I require a refund on my Big W item? Do the 2k points get reversed?
Yes
No it doesn’t get reversed. I have returned things before and kept my points
My bad. Youi is correct. (It's flybys that do get reversed)
My in app offer wasn't as good just collect x5 times the points. I can't find anything so I'll let it go.
I think this can be stacked up with CommBank rewards of get $10 back, if you spend $50 on BigW online
Anyone tried buying a $40 gift card to get the pts? I cant see anything in the t n c that gift cards are ineligible. TIA
They updated the terms and conditions in the app. Gift cards are ineligible
Can I use tcn GC to pay the purchase?
Can I buy a gift card after activating the offer? Equates to 25% discount which is pretty decent.
Metroid Prime Switch (if you can find a copy) for net $39
Received - combining with x7 points offer on same card
Been receiving similar targeted offer of 2000 pts for $40 spend @Woolies for months.
