Amaysim SIM card activation - when does the SIM expire if not activated?

Any idea how to tell when an amaysim sim must be activated by?

I got some during last year's free (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/663347) 2Gb/month yet to be activated.

My sim pack shows no expiry date.

All I know is with prepaud once activated and not topped up the mobile number/plan will last for 6 months, so no information on sim atarter kit? if not suggest message or call Amaysim and pass them your sim number on sim so theyll let you know if still active or an expiry date

does the back of the packet have an expiry date?

  Unfortunately there is no expiry date on the pack (back or front) or the SIM.
  There is an ICCID (same as SIM card number) and a Batch No. on the pack.

I've just checked some of the SIM packs, and the last 6 digits of the Batch No. looks like a date (format ddmmyy).

I spoke to customer support regarding $10 starter kit ("AS YOU GO" plan) I purchased, and they said it needs to be activated within 3 months otherwise it "may" be cancelled.
