Had this on my camels watchlist from a while ago, but ended up buying a Create webcam with decent audio.
Second lowest price of all time, only beaten by the $28.99 deal 10 months ago.

Is it significantly better than using a webcam mic? Using Logitech c930e
Is it significantly better than using a webcam mic?
No.
Unless you are forming a boy band…
Loud and clear 👍🏽
@marantz: What is your band's name?
Yeah, it's decently better. I have a Logitech C920, and it's noticeably better quality.
Only crap thing is its micro-usb connection is ancient.
I've had this one for about 7 years now.
Is the noise cancelling good? Say I have a cat meowing next to me in a meeting would it pick that up?
I think it is a condenser microphone that picks up most noise in front and to the sides, but the sensisitivity is not that great, people struggle to hear me unless the mic is less than arms length away.

It was $19.99 at Kogan at the same time as that deal.

I used to use this for work also, but upgraded last year to a Blue Yeti as part of the Prime Day deals. Wasn't a bad mic for the price.
Do you have to have this in proximity to your mouth or is on the desk still sufficient? I have a Logitech C922 as my main mic, wondering if this will be an improvement.
I have one of these, but it was swiped by a teenage streamer.
I think the Logitech cam is good for zoom/teams audio. This mic is better for podcasting or voice recording where you want to hear the output in realtime. It is also very portable for field recording.
So I think save your money unless you are producing that sort of audio content.
If its on the desk in front of your keyboard it's good, people say its too soft when its behind the keyboard. I ended up putting it on a boom arm in the end.
I had one mounted on a boom above my monitor and I never had any complaints about low volume or keyboard noise. Mostly, people used to comment on how clear the sound was - better than most headset mics and much better than built in laptop or webcam microphones etc.
The old style USB was no issue to me - once it's plugged in that's it - leave it plugged in. The mic has a mute button and a 3.5mm socket to plug in external speakers with a volume control. I used a logitech speaker set and never had issues with feedback or noise. I also have a Blue Snowball Ice - the Samson is better.
Reviews show this consistently bats above it price point.

I use this mic daily for work (Teams calls, etc) - excellent quality from something relatively small and cheap.
