says i purchased the big one in 2020 for $135 ….. do i need another one …… maybe another one for red peppercorns ?
I have a set of those and their tiny once are sux.
Why so salty?
:D
It was the pepper shaker 😬
idea of tiny ones isn’t in the kitchen where you grind a lot of pepper in cooking …..it’s dining table use to season your meal and people don’t want to use up space on dining tables hence small pepper grinders …..
I wasn't using in the kitchen daily, but their taller version is good.
review are bad
Why so expensive? Mill into atomic scale?
a lot of the cost is the mechanism, package, etc ….. next sizes up don’t cost vastly more as it’s just extra wood and packaging , mechanism is the same …… pepper grinders are worth having as fresh pepper is more aromatic than pre ground ……but salt doesn’t change over time, best by date on salt on salt is meaningless….. only reason to have salt grinder is if you have a problem with humidity and salt clumping when it dries …..
I find for this sort of stuff, do it once and do it right.
@stevarja
,,,Maybe because the lifetime guarantee is actually real. I have had my set for 30 years. The shaft on the salt grinder broke about 20 years ago and was replaced under the lifetime guarantee with no questions asked… and both are still going string as the day I originally purchased them. If I had to replace them tomorrow I would, but they are likely to see me to the grave…
Shake it like a Salt Shaker! I mean Pepper Shaker.
That's not a grinder,
This is a grinder!
