    • Hi thanks for the info, where does it say it's more than 100wh?

      • +1

In the quick reference table above. 30k = 111wh

    • Excellent post.

  • Has anyone ever been stopped for carrying a power bank at an airport? I've yet to see it happen

    • +1

I've been stopped by security to check that my batteries hadn't passed the legal limit (160Wh). They read the capacity and then gave it back. If it were greater than 160Wh then they would have definitely confiscated it.

It's up to airlines if they set lower limits. I fly frequently and have never had an airline stop me.

  • Can we use this for dash cams? Can it withstand the Sydney heat in the summer?

    • I wouldn't try it without insurance…

    • Looks like a different product. I know same name, but different.

Maybe JB's is clearing old tech?

  • 12w input at the c port

  • Would this work to charge a laptop with a type c input?

    • Depends on what laptop.
A MacBook Air will charge nicely with 15w (although slowly).
Not my thinkpad p15v, even with my 60w power bank.
The thinkpad’s power brick is 150w and it always charges the power bank.
Even when the thinkpad is at 5% it still tries to charge my full powerbank…
The same power bank charges MacBooks nicely.

  • Is the powerbank faulty if doesnt charge to 100%?
